Isabela Winner’s List: Because Every Champion Deserves a Spotlight

There’s nothing quite like the electric energy of show day — the tan, the pump, the final moments before stepping on stage. But long before the lights hit the athletes, there’s an entire world of grit, planning, and passion that happens behind the scenes.

April 7th was no exception as the Gawaygawa-yan Isabela Bodybuilding Competition lit up the north with serious muscle and even more heart. While PrepLife couldn’t attend this time around, we’re always thankful to our good friend JP Yap for sending us the full list of winners so we can continue doing what we love: giving the community the recognition it deserves.

Prepping for a show — whether you're a competitor or an event organizer — is a massive undertaking. Competitors are deep in the trenches of #PrepLife: strict macros, early cardio, late-night posing, and everything in between. On the flip side, organizers are working just as hard: securing venues, finding sponsors, booking judges, and making sure every single detail is flawless for a seamless show day. Both roles require relentless dedication, and we see you.

That’s exactly why we post the Winner’s Lists.

We believe in giving due respect to the athletes who sacrificed so much to step on stage, and to the people who made the event possible. Publishing these names not only celebrates their achievements — it also generates hype for future shows, inspires new athletes to compete, boosts visibility for organizers, and builds credibility for the growing bodybuilding community here in the Philippines.

If you're organizing a bodybuilding competition or fitness event and want PrepLife to come out — whether for a feature, a full review, or even to be a guest judge — don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here for it. From prep to podium, we’re all about supporting the journey to the stage.

Much love to the Isabela bodybuilding fam, and big congrats to all the athletes who brought their best this weekend.

Let’s keep the momentum going. See you at the next one.

And without much ado, here is the Winner's List...

We love the Philippines and there's a lot of amazingly talented athletes here.  It would be awesome to give them more opportunities to shine so that they can take it to the next level and make an even bigger impact, on an international level.
